For heavy large particle laden water, we recommend a pre practical filter off 5 or 10 microns so as not to clog your BWT main filter too fast.
When selecting the Premium filter with magnesium that sweetens the water and provides a PH of 8 or about ,to help coffee taste, we recommend a flow meter so you will know when it's time to change your filter, as the magnesium will show as a hardness on a hard water test strip and provide a false reading as it is a mineral solid.
