The word Faema in Italy and worldwide stands for the E61 brew group. Faema was the machine company that brought the adjustable water pump and a continues run espresso machine to the espresso / coffee market.in 1961. and opened up the world to an easier operator experience, then the hydraulic leva handle machine.
The E61 brew group known for its soft pre-infusion and producing great tasting espresso coffee is still being used today in many prosumers machine while the volumetric version is used my many other mfg.
Faema is now part of the Grupo Cimbali companies producing traditional and super automatic espresso machines for all segments of the espresso machine industry.
